In the silence of midnight The crickets screeched and The wolves howled at a distance...... It was then I had a dream of her Whispering in my ear, 'I miss you so much my dear' 💕....... As I lay fast asleep, unaware of her presence As she cast a glance , And Her legs kept floating above..... Alas! I never woke up ever again! -Dikshita Sarma @being_logophilic_

'LET ME GO!'...... Thousands of Women screaming together Their terrifying pleads echoed the area As they were being pulled away By Hordes of Bearded Men With the look of Iconic Demon Their Sights of Ravish, scanning through the bodies of Females Lips drooling with lust, Eyes filled with anger and Disgust That even the God of Evil would be put to shame..... Once the golden deserts of Syria Turned in a flash into a dumping area Filled with corpses Spilled with Rivers of Blood everywhere Men and Children beheaded mercilessly before the eyes Women pulled away like animals And being abducted in masses...... That's the last thing she could remember Before she was being forced away too By the cruel Pretenders as 'Humans' And her Life being forced into a horrifying Mess....... LET ME GO! She resisted Till the last bit of her strength remained No, she could not save herself from being raped...... Streams of Tear rolling down her Eyes, The streams of Helplessness and despair As her lifeless body laid on the ground Without a single kindle of hope Yet, Her lifeless Eyes still stared at the single window of her darkest Cell Looking for the last means to escape...... This stretched on for months together Until one day she managed to free herself From the clutches of Devils out there As she kept running as far as her body could bear Screams of the women in pain still echoing in her ear Those shrieks of Horror...... Still sending chills down her spine And would haunt her for the rest of her life....... 'So, who are you people actually? ', As she was asked in the interview That one question triggered thousands of bitter memories altogether.... Of her land of peace That was once meant to flourish...... But the Hurricane of ISIS blew everything away Their peace, their families, their Life at a sway..... She somehow managed a fake smile, A Tear dripping at the end of her eye,.... She finally replied with a sigh 'We are a Bunch of Kurds The Residents of the Syrian Deserts We are a tribe of minority, Not known by many..... Until, The Brutal genocide happened in our lives Until, We were Tyrannised for us Monotheistic beliefs Until, we were tortured for being the believers of Peace..... But Now,We are widely distinguished throughout the world as the Victim tribe known as The 'YAZIDIS'...... -Dikshita Sarma Insta Id:@being_logophilic_
